Job summary

Justteachers Ltd is seeking a dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Doncaster from September 2026. This temporary, full-time supply position offers long-term continuity for pupils within a positive, inclusive school culture.

You will deliver KS3/KS4 PE lessons, adapt plans for diverse learners and work with the PE department to promote health and teamwork while maintaining strong behaviour standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or UK teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Physical Education in a secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the secondary PE curriculum, including health and fitness.
• Two education or school-based references.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with KS3 and KS4 National Curriculum.
• Plan, assess and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Promote teamwork, physical wellbeing and positive attitudes to sport.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and student engagement.
• Work collaboratively with the PE department and wider school staff.
