Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Education, or a related field.
• PGCE in Physical Education.
• Proven experience teaching physical education at the primary/secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of various sports, fitness activities, and health education principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to lead active and healthy lifestyles.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current in the field of physical education.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver comprehensive physical education lessons for students of various ages and abilities.
• Develop and implement a curriculum covering team sports, individual sports, fitnesstraining, and health education.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages participation and personal bests.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Organise and supervise extracurricular sports programs, competitions, and events.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing during activities and maintain equipment and facilities.
• Stay updated with trends in PE and incorporate best practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school community.
