Academics Ltd. is seeking a Secondary Music & Performing Arts Teacher for Ellesmere Port starting this September.

You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, with opportunities for flexible daily cover, short-term and longer placements in supportive secondary schools. You will inspire students in music, drama and stagecraft, support ensembles and productions, and hold a DBS update service in good standing or be willing to apply for one.

Qualifications

• UK Qualified Teacher Status and degree in Music, Performing Arts, Drama or related field.
• Strong knowledge of the UK Music and Performing Arts curriculum, with practical instrumental/vocal instruction or theatre techniques.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and plan vibrant practical and theoretical lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Seamlessly cover flexible daily, short-term, and long-term placements in Ellesmere Port.
• Inspire students to participate, perform, and gain confidence in expressive arts.
• Support or lead extra-curricular music ensembles, productions, choirs, or rehearsal clubs.
