Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland seeks Mobile Retail Security Officers to support multiple supermarket locations. You will provide a visible presence, deter theft, respond to incidents, and assist customers while adapting to fast-paced store environments.

As a mobile officer you will travel between sites, conduct patrols, monitor CCTV, liaise with store management, and produce incident reports. Availability for evenings and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding).
• DBS clearance and BS7858 security checks.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (preferred).
• Experience in retail security or customer-facing roles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-profile security presence to deter theft and incidents.
• Patrol shop floors, entrances, and perimeters across multiple sites.
• Monitor CCTV and identify suspicious activity in real time.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
• Liaise with store management to address risks and support loss prevention.
