Job summary

Aspire People are seeking experienced MFL teachers for opportunities across Secondary and FE settings in South Wales. Roles span French, Spanish, German, or other MFL subjects, for both secondary and FE environments.

We welcome QTS holders or those with equivalent qualifications, with strong subject knowledge, classroom management, and a flexible approach to work across different education settings. DBS verification is common and ongoing demand exists.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification for secondary roles.
• Strong subject knowledge in French, Spanish, German or another MFL.
• Experience teaching MFL in secondary and/or FE settings.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Modern Foreign Languages across secondary or FE settings.
• Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons.
• Help learners develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
• Prepare students for relevant qualifications and examinations.
• Differentiate teaching to meet varying abilities and needs.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Support learners with ALN/SEN and collaborate with staff.
