Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking qualified Mathematics Teachers for day-to-day supply and long-term contracts across Bristol, Swindon, Somerset and Wiltshire from September 2026. You will plan and deliver maths lessons, assess progress and support the wider school community.

Applicants should hold QTS with Mathematics, have KS4 experience and strong classroom management, with competitive pay and CPD opportunities. Flexible working patterns available to suit you.

Qualifications

• QTS with Mathematics specialism (ECTs welcome).
• Experience teaching Mathematics up to KS4.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Strong communication, planning and assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inclusive Mathematics lessons up to KS4.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Communicate effectively with schools and consultants.
• Be flexible across placements in Bristol, Swindon, Somerset and Wiltshire.
