Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Teacher of Mathematics for a Chesham-based secondary academy in Buckinghamshire. You will teach KS3 and KS4, plan engaging lessons and monitor pupil progress.

Qualifications

• QTS or recognised teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary setting.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
• Good curriculum knowledge.
• Strong classroom management.
• Ability to build professional relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4.
• Planning lessons appropriate to different abilities.
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress.
• Preparing pupils for GCSE examinations.
• Maintaining consistent classroom expectations.
• Working with colleagues to support pupil achievement.
• Participating in normal departmental and school duties.
