Marchant Recruitment is seeking a passionate Maths Teacher for a leading secondary school in Walsall. The position is full-time with an ASAP start, offering the opportunity to inspire students, build mathematical confidence and drive attainment in a supportive classroom environment.

You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3/KS4, with potential KS5 where appropriate, plan effectively, assess progress and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practice.

Formación

• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting.
• Strong lesson planning, assessment and classroom management skills.
• Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in an accessible way.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to raising attainment and supporting diverse learning needs.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 use.
• Explain mathematical concepts clearly using varied teaching strategies.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Prepare students for examinations through effective revision and targeted interventions.
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and encourage positive participation.
• Differentiate lessons to ensure all students can succeed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and improve teaching practice.
