Job summary

The Education Network Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher for a good Birmingham secondary school to start September 2026 on a full-time, long-term supply basis.

You will teach KS3–KS4 GCSE Maths, plan engaging lessons, assess progress, and support students in achieving their potential in a supportive department.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or be an ECT.
• Experience teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4.
• Be confident delivering the GCSE Maths curriculum.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Be committed to supporting student progress and raising attainment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons for KS3 and KS4.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Support GCSE Mathematics preparation and help students reach their full potential.
