Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting a Maths Teacher for a popular secondary school in Darlington. The role is full-time, starting ASAP and continuing through the remainder of the academic year.

You will plan, deliver and assess Maths lessons for KS3 and KS4, contributing to student progress within a supportive department. Applicants should have QTS (or QTLS), PGCE in Maths, and an enhanced DBS (DBS update service preferred).

Qualifications

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (QTLS) and PGCE in Maths or related subject.
• Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and ability to plan engaging KS3/KS4 lessons.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS3/KS4 Maths lessons across ability ranges.
• Assess and track pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet needs.
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and student safety.
