Job summary

Tyne Coast College – South Tyneside Campus is hiring a Maths Teacher via The Supply Register. The role is a full-time temporary assignment with a 37-hour week, offering £24.43–£28.63 per hour. You will teach Maths across Functional Skills and GCSE, support learners, and contribute to curriculum development.

Experience in Further Education, a Pgce/cert Ed or equivalent, and a strong maths knowledge base are essential. DBS checks and references will be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Maths lessons across Functional Skills and GCSE programmes.
• Assess learner progress, provide feedback and support.

• Maintain records of attendance, progress and achievement.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student success.
