Tyne Coast College South Tyneside Campus is seeking a Part-Time Maths Lecturer to deliver Functional Skills Maths and GCSE Maths across a varied learner group.

The role is a 24-hour-per-week temporary assignment posted via The Supply Register, with competitive hourly rates and an anticipated end date around October Half Term.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 or Level 5 Maths qualification is required.
• A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent.

Hours: 24 hours per week (timetable dependent)
Contract: Temporary assignment (predicted end date: October Half Term)

The Supply Register is working in partnership with Tyne Coast College, South Tyneside Campus, to recruit a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Maths Lecturer to support students across Functional Skills Maths and GCSE Maths programmes.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled Maths educator to deliver high-quality teaching, support learner development, and contribute to positive student outcomes within a Further Education setting.

The Role

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that develop students understanding, confidence, and practical application of mathematical skills. You will support learners through assessment, feedback, and targeted intervention to help them achieve their qualifications.

Responsibilities include:

Essential Requirements
