Job summary

Angard Staffing is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) Mail Sorters with Royal Mail. Shifts span Mon–Sun with a minimum of 4 hours and up to 12 hours, across Early, Late and Night patterns. Training is provided and no prior experience is required.

You will unload mail, sort by postcode, and move items through the warehouse, meeting tight deadlines. Some teams handle over a million items per shift, including election materials and restricted items under Royal Mail

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or sorting work is a plus.
• No previous experience needed - training provided.
• Able to push trolleys up to 250kg and lift mail bags up to 11kg.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Unload mail and parcels.
• Sort items by postcode and move them through the warehouse.
• Meet tight deadlines during shifts; some teams sort over a million items.
• Handle election materials and certain items (e.g., food products or alcohol) per Royal Mail standards.
