Ysgol Bryn Teg in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire County Council, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support learning and development. You will work with the class Teacher to provide one-on-one and group support, assisting with lesson planning and preparation.

The role emphasises a positive, nurturing classroom, collaboration with staff, and essential DBS checks. Welsh language ability is desirable and ALN experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience with ALN pupils beneficial.
• Welsh language level is desirable for this post.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lesson planning and preparation.
• Provide support to students during lessons and activities.
• Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
• Monitor and record student progress.
• Provide feedback to Teachers and parents.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
