Job summary

The Education Specialists are seeking a flexible and confident Secondary Supply Teacher to provide general classroom cover in a well-regarded secondary school in Crewe. This is a full-time, long-term position for the remainder of the academic year, delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4.

The successful candidate will work in a school with a strong behaviour policy and supportive leadership, offering a consistent role and opportunities for professional development and CPD.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
• Ability to deliver lessons across a range of subjects.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through The Education Specialists.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Adapt teaching to suit different classroom environments.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour.
