Job summary

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Middlesbrough, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher. The school is seeking a passionate educator who can deliver engaging Mathematics lessons, maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and encourage students to develop confidence in their mathematical abilities.

The school is looking to take on a Maths Teacher from January 2027 on a full-time, long-term basis.

Qualifications

• QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply).
• Experience teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Mathematics curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Confidence in planning, marking and assessing students' work.
• Genuine passion for teaching and supporting students to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 with engaging lessons.
• Plan, mark and assess students' work and monitor progress.
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and student engagement.
