Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking an ICT Teacher to join a secondary school in Coventry for a long-term supply role from September 2026 to July 2027. The successful candidate will deliver ICT/Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4, plan engaging sessions and support pupils’ digital literacy.

Applicants should have QTS or ECT status, strong subject knowledge in ICT and be able to manage a positive, well-behaved classroom while using a range of digital resources. Regular feedback will be provided.

Qualifications

• QTS or ECT status
• Strong ICT/Computing knowledge
• Good understanding of KS3 and KS4 curriculum
• Confident using ICT software and digital technologies
• Strong behaviour management
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and motivate pupils through effective teaching

Responsibilities

• Teach ICT across KS3 and KS4
• Deliver engaging ICT and Computing lessons
• Develop pupils' digital literacy and technical understanding
• Plan lessons for different abilities and learning needs
• Use digital resources and technology effectively in lessons
• Maintain a safe, positive and well-managed classroom
• Monitor and assess pupil progress
• Provide regular and constructive feedback
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
