Job summary

GLF Schools in Reading is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support students across the curriculum under the SENCo's guidance. You will work with groups or individuals to ensure access to learning in a safe, caring environment, delivering planned lessons and supporting pupils with a range of needs.

Qualifications

• Hold relevant qualifications, including a good general education (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above) and a HLTA qualification (or working towards).
• Have experience delivering lessons to whole classes and supporting learning.
• Be skilled in adapting and delivering engaging learning strategies, managing behaviour effectively, and supporting pupils' emotional and academic development.
• Demonstrate strong organisational skills, including preparing resources, maintaining pupil records, and contributing to classroom planning.
• Show excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, working well with colleagues, children, and parents.
• Be motivated, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and safeguarding.
