Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is recruiting a History Teacher for a maternity cover at a well-regarded secondary school in Nottingham, starting January 2027. The role covers KS3 and KS4, full-time, with duties across planning, delivery, and assessment.

You will join a supportive, inclusive school community and contribute to the Humanities department while maintaining high expectations for pupil progress and wellbeing. This position offers a stable opportunity locally.

Formación

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Humanities at KS3 and KS4.
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities.
• Be organised, adaptable and committed to high-quality teaching.
• Have strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver engaging and well-planned Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Follow established schemes of work while bringing creativity to lessons.
• Assess, track and support pupil progress effectively.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement and literacy.
• Contribute positively to the Humanities department and wider school ethos.
