The University of Birmingham is seeking a Graphic Designer to join the Conference & Events team within Campus Services. You will craft engaging online and offline design assets, from event websites to banners, while ensuring brand consistency across university materials.

You will collaborate across teams, apply UX/UI principles, and guide print and digital production. Strong Adobe CC skills and excellent communication are essential for success in a busy, diverse environment.

Formación

• Educated to A Level standard or equivalent qualification.
• GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Professional experience in a Design and/or Marketing role.
• Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and print/digital assets.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and branding.
• Ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Produce visually engaging online and offline collateral for Conference & Events.
• Create assets like event websites, guides, programs, banners, and logos.
• Ensure final files meet print and digital specs with proofs checked.
• Apply UX/UI insights to improve user journeys across materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align with University branding.
• Advise on design processes, tools, and production workflows.
• Liaise with printers and external partners to ensure smooth projects.
• Research market design trends and measure design effectiveness.
• Support broader Campus Services design needs as required.
