Job summary

South London and Maudsley NHS Trust is seeking a Family Interventions Therapist for the Lewisham Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (LEIS). You will develop and support family interventions for psychosis, work with families where a member is experiencing psychosis, and provide carer 1-1 support and a carers group.

The role includes supervision and consultations to other team members and students, with opportunities for research and CPD within the Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering family interventions for psychosis and related therapies.
• Ability to supervise and consult with other team members and students.
• Interest in research and CPD opportunities within the Trust.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support family interventions for LEIS, focusing on families where a member has psychosis.
• Facilitate the team’s work with families; provide 1-1 carer support and run a carers group.
• Provide supervision and consultations to colleagues and students.
• Engage in CPD and research opportunities within the Trust.
