Job summary

Malvern College is seeking an Events, Logistics & Hospitality Assistant to join the Catering and Hospitality team at Malvern College. The role involves transporting food, equipment, and supplies across the site, supporting event setup and breakdown, and assisting with front-of-house operations during busy periods.

The role is hands-on, requiring flexibility, good organisation, and a positive attitude. Weekend and evening work may be required depending on the events programme and rota.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence (manual/automatic).
• Personable, reliable and responsible.
• Experience with driving is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, service, and presentation of food to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and service areas.
• Assist with food labelling, temperature checks, and allergen controls.
• Provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff, and visitors.
• Set up and clear service areas, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Follow all food safety, health & safety, and safeguarding procedures.
• Contribute to hospitality events and occasional out-of-hours functions.
• Adhere to allergen controls.
