Job summary

The role is regulated work with PVG Scheme requirements and GTC Scotland registration. Salary will align with SNCT agreements, with pre-employment checks including overseas clearances where applicable.

Qualifications

• This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
• Must be or eligible to be fully GTC Scotland registered.
• If qualified outside Scotland, review GTCS FAQs for registration.
• This post requires a minimum of one reference from current or most recent employer.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality education to assigned pupils.
• Contribute to collegiate ethos and the professional life of the school in relation to pupils, staff and external bodies within Local Negotiating Committee for Teachers and Scottish Negotiating Committee for Teachers.
• Participate in pre-employment checks including PVG Scheme and Overseas Criminal Record Check where applicable.
