Job summary

Arnold Clark BMW in Giffnock is seeking an enthusiastic Driver/Valeter to ensure vehicles are presented to the highest standard. The role suits someone who enjoys active, physical work, has great attention to detail and works well in a team.

You will handle cleaning, exterior washing, interior detailing and polishing, while adhering to health and safety guidelines. A full UK driving licence is essential, and training is provided; valet experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• High level of attention to detail required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting duties.
• Willingness to participate in training programmes, including Valet Academy.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning sold and stock vehicles to a high standard.
• Cleaning vehicles externally with a high-powered pressure washer.
• Using a high-powered vacuum to clean and shampoo vehicle interiors.
• Working with a polishing/buffing machine to enhance bodywork.
• Complying with health and safety procedures while working with chemicals.
• Maintaining and securing equipment, reporting defects and following PPE.
• Working to set timeframes and targets.
• Completing a daily record of work completed.
• Other duties to support the branch as required.
