Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Ayr is seeking an enthusiastic Driver/Valeter to ensure all vehicles are presented in top condition within the Rental department. This full-time role covers 45 hours per week across five days with occasional weekends.

You will work as part of a busy team, with training offered and the Arnold Clark Valet Academy available for new staff. Valet experience is welcome but not required, and a strong work ethic is essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• High level of attention to detail is essential.
• Must be a team player with self-motivation.
• Willingness to participate in training programmes.

Responsibilities

• Clean sold and stock vehicles to a high standard.
• Clean using pressure washer and vacuum.
• Polish/buff bodywork as required.
• Drive to collect and deliver vehicles to customers and branches.
• Follow health and safety procedures when handling chemicals.
• Maintain equipment and report defects; follow PPE recommendations.
• Meet daily targets and keep a record of work.
