Leigh Academy Tonbridge is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to support classrooms during teacher absences and during school activities. The role involves ensuring lessons run smoothly, engaging students with set work, and offering feedback to staff on progress and behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Oversee classrooms in the absence of teachers, including during PPA cover, school trips and short-term leave.
• Deliver instructions and keep students engaged with the work set by class teachers.
• Provide supportive presence, answer general queries and feed back student progress and behaviour to staff.
• Not responsible for lesson planning or formal assessment of students.
