Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking Cover Supervisors to work in schools across Macclesfield. The role involves supporting students in Secondary schools from KS3-KS5 and managing behaviour during pre-planned absence cover.

Roles vary between day-to-day and long-term assignments with both part-time and full-time options depending on school needs. Relevant safeguarding training is desirable and Prospero provides training and vetting support.

Qualifications

• Strong behaviour management skills required.
• UK school experience preferred (KS3-KS5).
• Safeguarding training desirable but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support students in Secondary schools from KS3 to KS5.
• Provide day-to-day and long-term cover for pre-planned absences.
• Register, supervise and manage classroom activities according to school policies.
