Qualifications

• Must have previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor in a UK secondary school.
• Significant classroom-based experience supporting secondary-aged students.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes of students aged 11–16 and 11–18 during the short-term absence of their teacher.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain focused and engaged.
• Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with the school's policy.
• Support students in completing set work and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson progress and student behaviour.
