Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking Unqualified Supply Teachers / Cover Supervisors to work in Bristol and North Somerset. You will supervise classes, deliver pre-planned lessons, and maintain a calm, positive environment.

No prior teaching experience required; full training provided. Flexible full-time or part-time shifts with pre-booked slots, morning call-ins, and opportunities for long-term or permanent placements.

Qualifications

• No prior school experience required; training provided free of charge.
• Driving is beneficial but not essential.
• A degree is desirable but not essential.
• Strong classroom presence and rapport with young people.

Responsibilities

• Supervise secondary school classes in the absence of the regular teacher
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students complete set work (no 'teaching' required)
• Maintain a calm, structured and positive classroom environment
• Support students to remain engaged and on task
• Follow school behaviour policies and established routines
