Aspire People is seeking reliable Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Birmingham and Solihull. If you have experience supervising classes and are seeking regular, flexible bookings starting November 2026, we want to hear from you.

Whether you can do a couple of days a week or a full-time schedule, Aspire People will discuss availability, travel and preferred school environments to match your needs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary pupils.
• Ability to manage groups and behaviour.
• Full eligibility for work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supervising KS3 and KS4 classes when the regular teacher is absent.
• Delivering pre-prepared activities and instructions.
• Managing classroom behaviour and a positive learning environment.
• Supporting pupils with their work and encouraging participation.
• Following safeguarding and school policies.
• Providing feedback to teaching staff after lessons.
