Job summary

Leicester-based secondary school is seeking a Computing Teacher for a full-time, permanent role starting September 2026. You will teach Computing across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities depending on experience, and contribute to curriculum development.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that build computational thinking, programming and digital literacy, while supporting inclusion and high standards of progress in a collaborative department.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Computing or a related discipline.
• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Computing or Computer Science at secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of programming and computational thinking.
• Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4.

Responsibilities
