DMG Education Ltd in Southampton is assisting a respected secondary school to appoint a Computer Science Teacher. The role covers Key Stages 3 and 4, with a full-time permanent contract starting January 2027 or as soon as possible.

You will deliver engaging lessons, assess work against the national curriculum, support student progress, and contribute to the department and wider school community, including coding clubs and competitions.

Formación

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level.
• Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of current curriculum.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Responsabilidades

• Teach engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4
• Prepare, deliver, and assess work in line with national curriculum standards
• Support students' progress and encourage interest in coding and technology
• Contribute to the continued development of the Computer Science department and wider school community
• Participate in extra-curricular activities, such as coding clubs and competitions
