Job summary

Macdonald & Company seeks an experienced Commercial Property Manager to take ownership of a regional portfolio around the North West. This hands-on role focuses on building strong relationships with tenants, clients and contractors while overseeing maintenance, budgets, and compliance.

You will travel to sites across the region with a proactive, customer-focused approach; a RICS qualification is advantageous and travel is required.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building across tenants, clients, and contractors.

• Good financial awareness and budgeting capability, with attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of a commercial property portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, clients and contractors.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works.
• Manage service charge budgets, reconciliations and expenditure.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure Health & Safety compliance.
• Oversee vacant units, lease obligations and tenant applications.
• Collaborate with finance on rent collection, invoicing and debtor management.
• Produce regular reports on occupancy, budgets and property performance.
