Job summary

The role involves working with Teaching Assistants, liaising with external professionals, and contributing to school improvement.

You will ensure inclusive practice, high standards of behaviour, and a stimulating classroom environment, while adhering to the national curriculum and school policies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to deliver a broad, balanced curriculum.
• Experience in differentiating instruction to meet pupil needs.
• Ability to monitor and support pupil progress and development.
• Works well with colleagues and external professionals.

Responsibilities

• Directing and supervising the work of Teaching Assistants.
• Co-operation and liaison with other professionals, including external agencies.
• Teach pupils in assigned groups according to educational needs and assess work.
• Use varied delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Provide a positive, safe learning environment and uphold high standards of punctuality and presentation.
• Support inclusion and the school’s special needs policy.
• Set high expectations for pupil behaviour and promote positive relationships.
• Promote the school’s Christian ethos and participate in school life.
• Follow and actively promote the school’s policies.
