Amnis Education is seeking a dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Ashton-under-Lyne. The role starts on Monday 2 November 2026 and runs initially until the Christmas holidays, with the possibility of extension into 2027.

The ideal candidate will deliver engaging Business Studies lessons to GCSE level, foster a positive classroom environment and contribute to high student achievement in a supportive school setting.

Qualifications

• QTS or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Business Studies within a secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge, particularly at GCSE level.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• The ability to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
• Availability to commence work on Monday 2nd November 2026.

Responsabilités

• Planning and delivering engaging Business Studies lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum.
• Teaching Business Studies at Key Stage 4, including GCSE-level content where required.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and achievement.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
• Maintaining high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement.
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff and departmental colleagues.
• Following the school's safeguarding policies and procedures.
