Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a passionate Business Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in Corby. You will plan and deliver engaging GCSE Business lessons and support students to develop understanding of business, entrepreneurship, finance and economics.

This is a full-time, long-term role suitable for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher. You will work with colleagues to drive progress, manage a positive classroom environment and contribute to departmental planning

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging GCSE Business Studies lessons.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Teach key business concepts including marketing, finance, enterprise and operations.
• Prepare students for GCSE Business examinations.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning.
• Support students in achieving their academic potential.
