Job summary

Academics seeks a Biology Teacher to join a secondary school in Walsall on a 1 term contract. You will plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics while maintaining an inclusive learning environment.

You will assess and report on student progress, differentiate learning to meet diverse needs, and uphold safeguarding and high professional standards. Salary is 150–230 GBP per day, paid for term-time, with flexible full/part-time hours

Qualifications

• Pl anning and delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics as part of the secondary Science curriculum.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progress.
• Preparing students for GCSE Combined Science and Separate Science exams where applicable.
• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all learners.
• Managing behaviour in line with school policies.
• Delivering practical lessons safely in accordance with procedures.
• Working together with colleagues, parents and carers.
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, professionalism and student welfare.
