Are you excited about shaping the future of Wastewater Management? We are recruiting for a DWMP Delivery Manager. You will be leading the delivery of long-term Drainage and Wastewater Management Plans (DWMP), responding to critical issues like climate change and urban growth.

Please note that interviews will not be held for the role until mid-September.

What you’ll be doing as a DWMP Delivery Manager
  • Leading technical communities through a programme of work to tight timescales whilst maintaining a high-quality output.
  • Ensuring the delivery of stages of DWMP28 to meet stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Work with business planning teams across Thames Water to incorporate into medium-term business planning.
  • Shape and deliver a development plan to ensure statutory requirements are met for the second iteration of DWMP.
  • Deliver a framework for partnership working that supports the 2050 corporate vision.
What you should bring to the role

The essential criteria you need is:

  • Educated to degree level (or higher) or outstanding role-specific knowledge, the Engineering discipline is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the utility industry is required, ideally with experience in the water industry with long-term infrastructure planning.
  • Proven track record of programme management and delivery.
  • Previous experience in price review planning or asset management.
  • Strong Mathematica/ Financial & analytical skills.
  • Stakeholder and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
