Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Swindon is seeking a Fully Qualified MOT Tester to join our automotive team. This is an MOT-only role with no servicing or repairs, offering flexible Monday–Friday hours and no weekend shifts.

You will perform DVSA-compliant MOT inspections, maintain digital MOT records, and ensure a tidy, inspection-ready bay. The role provides pension benefits, staff discounts on servicing, free on-site parking, and funded DVSA certification updates.

Qualifications

• Must be a fully qualified MOT Tester with a valid DVSA MOT Licence.
• F-Gas certification is preferred (or interest in obtaining it).
• Proven MOT testing experience in a modern dealshop or independent garage.
• Full UK driving licence is essential for vehicle movement.
• Basic hand tools may be required for testing and inspection checks.
• Strong DVSA compliance, punctuality and ability to manage a bay independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT inspections in accordance with DVSA regulations and safety guidelines.
• Maintain precise digital MOT records and inspection documentation.
• Keep the MOT bay clean and inspection-ready while upholding health and safety standards.
• Communicate MOT results and advisories clearly with the service team to maintain workshop flow.
