Job summary

Datasource Recruitment is seeking a DV-cleared Network Engineer to join a team responsible for critical national infrastructure in London. The role focuses on enterprise routing, LAN switching, and network security across on-site environments.

You will design, build, test, and maintain network infrastructure, implement new technologies, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to align with customer strategy while sustaining high security and resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise and operator-scale routing protocols such as OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, LDP or RSVP.
• LAN switching in data centres and enterprise environments (RSTP/MSTP, LAG, MC-LAG).
• Experience implementing network security technologies including MACSEC, IPSEC, and 802.1x.
• Knowledge of network security design including Firewall, IDS, and IPS management.
• Hands-on experience with first-hop resilience and security protocols in enterprise environments.
• Ability to install and configure both physical and virtual network hardware.
• Experience supporting SD-WAN, wireless, and global network infrastructure standards.
• Must hold or be eligible for DV clearance — requires 10+ years of UK residency.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and customers.

Our client is looking for a DV cleared Network Engineer to join their IP management team working on critical national infrastructure in London. You'll need solid hands‑on experience with enterprise routing, LAN switching, and network security technologies.

Working Patterns and location – Fully on site
