Job description

Seeking a highly skilled DV cleared DevOps / Platform Engineer with experience in Linux and DevOps technologies, ideally with a strong background in cloud, to join a dynamic team within the defence sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to critical projects in a secure and innovative environment.

Required Experience:

  • Active DV clearance is essential
  • Developing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.
  • Software development tasks including working with python, scripting languages, and command line tools.
  • Managing ESXI hypervisors.
  • Ongoing upkeep of a Windows server domain and desktop workstations.
  • Managing Azure and AWS cloud environments, using IaC approaches such as Terraform
  • Upkeep and deployment of Linux servers (RedHat, Ubuntu, and and Debian variants).

Beneficial Skills:

  • Previous experience within the defence or government sectors.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and protocols (e.g., IAM, encryption).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
