Job summary
CGI is seeking experienced Site Reliability Engineers to join our Space, Defence and Intelligence teams in the UK. You will design, build, operate, and continuously improve highly reliable, scalable systems within a secure environment, with on-site attendance and DV clearance requirements.
You will work across AWS, OpenShift and Linux stacks, implement IaC with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation, and run robust monitoring and security practices to support live services and rapid delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps Engineer
- Strong automation and scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- Solid understanding of AWS and cloud-native architectures
- Experience with Linux-based environments and production troubleshooting
- Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration (OpenShift or Kubernetes)
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools

- Maintain deployment environments and manage changes to live services
