Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking a DV cleared Safety Engineer to support a high-profile MOD IT systems programme in Corsham, UK. The role is hybrid with 2 days on-site and a day rate of £500-£550, inside IR35.

You will write and review safety cases for tactical and operational environments, support safety assurance across MOD IT systems, and collaborate with technical and delivery stakeholders to ensure robust, audit-ready evidence.

Qualifications

• Active DV clearance required.
• Experience as Safety Engineer on MOD/defence programmes.
• Strong background producing and assuring safety cases (authoring & review).
