Job summary

Datasource Computer Employment Limited is seeking a Project Manager with a Management Consultancy background to join their Secure Government division, leading workstreams and Agile teams on digital transformation for public sector clients. Based in Gloucestershire, London or Manchester, the role is on-site with a hybrid pattern (4 days on site).

You will engage stakeholders, manage scope, schedule, budget and quality, and report on delivery performance to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering projects or work packages in Agile or structured environments.
• Strong leadership of diverse technical specialists across complex supply chains.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, budget and quality to meet client expectations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Confidence analysing project data and presenting findings clearly to senior audiences.
• Strong facilitation skills across workshops, meetings and delivery sessions.
• Ability to anticipate risks, manage dependencies and implement mitigations.
• Commercial awareness of project financials, contracts and supply chain considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage defined work packages and small-to-medium projects end to end.
• Ensure delivery meets agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality expectations.
• Work directly with client stakeholders to shape and improve delivery approaches.
• Identify, manage and mitigate risks and dependencies across delivery activities.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve project outcomes on time.
• Analyse project performance data and produce clear, insightful reporting.
• Support continuous improvement and guide team activity across workstreams.
• Build client confidence and represent the consultancy's transformation practice.
