Job summary
CBSbutler Ltd. is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with VMware Cloud Foundation expertise for a defence programme in Yeovil. This DV-cleared role is 3 days onsite per week, with a full 5-day week paid.
You will design, build, and support secure on-prem and hybrid platforms, leading technical delivery and automation efforts. Remote work is not indicated. Excellent opportunity for a highly skilled engineer to influence secure infrastructure and governance within a high-profile project.
Qualifications
- Active MOD DV clearance is essential.
- Onsite Yeovil: three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and support secure VMware Cloud Foundation platforms.
- Lead technical delivery across platform engineering work packages.
- Produce and review technical designs and documentation.
- Integrate, test and optimise platform components.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient solutions.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement across the platform estate.
