Job summary

Synergize Consulting Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced DV-cleared Linux/UNIX Systems Administrator to support a secure technology environment delivering and maintaining critical infrastructure and applications.

You will work hands-on with Red Hat Linux/RHEL, UNIX/Solaris, VMware and automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet, contributing to security hardening, patching and incident management in a highly secure setting.

Qualifications

• DV clearance is essential and must be current.
• Strong commercial experience as a Linux/UNIX SysAdmin.
• Experience Red Hat Linux / RHEL administration.
• Experience in Defence government or secure environment preferred.
• Production support across physical and virtualised environments.
• Security hardening, patch management and vulnerability remediation.

Responsibilities

• Support a secure technology environment delivering and maintaining critical infrastructure and applications.
• Perform server build, configuration, patching, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Provide production support across physical and virtualised environments.
• Lead security hardening and patch management activities.
• Contribute to automation and configuration management tasks using Ansible or Puppet.
