Job summary

Tektora Limited is seeking a DV-cleared Lead DevSecOps Engineer for a contract opportunity based in Hampshire, Basingstoke. The role focuses on delivering secure CI/CD tooling, infrastructure as code, and automation within an agile environment.

You will own technical implementation, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with teams to ensure security and business outcomes are met on a critical programme.

Qualifications

• Active DV clearance is required.
• Experience building and delivering CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong background in DevSecOps tooling and secure engineering.
• Proven leadership and mentoring of junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own aspects of DevSecOps tooling delivery and assessment.
• Contribute to design decisions for secure automation.
• Develop reusable automation scripts and IaC artefacts.
• Write build automation with Ansible and IaC with Terraform; configure CI/CD pipelines.
• Advise end users on DevSecOps tools and security practices.
• Work in a Scrum team to plan, prioritise and manage risks.
• Mentor engineers and influence implementation choices.
• Report progress to the DevSecOps Technical Lead and align with security needs.
