Additional Resources Ltd. invites a DevOps Engineer to help deliver complex software solutions across a specialist technical environment. The role focuses on cloud and on‑premises infrastructure, deployment processes and automation across the organisation.

The position offers a competitive £60,000 salary, benefits and a clear path for career development. DV clearance is essential for this role and you will work with Docker and Kubernetes to support secure, efficient software delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Systems Engineering experience.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Strong Git, networking and security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Manage Linux-based infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, observability solutions.
• Automate deployment and operational activities.
• Support containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with development teams to improve software release processes.
• Maintain security throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Create and maintain operational documentation.
