Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial DevOps/Platform or Systems Engineering experience.
• DV clearance is required for this role.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT or equivalent.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and container tech (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong CI/CD background and Linux administration.
• Familiarity with Terraform/Ansible or similar IaC tools.
• Solid networking and security fundamentals.
• Proficient with Git and release processes.

An opportunity has arisen for a DevOps Engineer to join an innovative technology organisation delivering complex software solutions for customers across a specialist technical environment. As a DevOps Engineer, you will support cloud and on:premises infrastructure, deployment processes and automation solutions across the organisation. This full:time role offers salary GBP 60,000 and benefits. Note: Valid DV clearance is essential for this role.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Building, managing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Managing and optimising Linux:based infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Implementing monitoring, logging, alerting and observability solutions.
• Automating deployment and operational activities.
• Supporting containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Working with development teams to improve software release processes.
• Maintaining security throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Investigating and resolving infrastructure and deployment issues.Creating and maintaining operational documentation.

What We Are Looking For

• Previously worked as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Valid DV clearance.
• Approx 3+ yeras commercial experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Experience AWS, Azure or Google Cloud and working with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong background working with CI/CD platforms and in Linux administration.
• Familiarity in using Terraform, Ansible or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Good understanding of networking and security principles.
• Strong knowledge of Git.
