Job description

iO Associates are partnered with a Software Development company in their search for a DevOps Engineer with active eDV Clearance to join a small, agile team focused on developing automation solutions to support and scale a critical platform capability.

This role involves enhancing existing tooling and laying the groundwork for future system expansions across various hardware architectures.

Rate: Up to £720 / day Inside IR35

Location: On-site in Hampshire or Milton Keynes

Contract Length: 9 Months (initial)

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a tight-knit team of engineers to develop and maintain automation pipelines
  • Design and implement scalable, automated solutions to streamline the process of evaluating unsupported Android devices.
  • Develop foundational tools that enable broader hardware and chipset support in future phases of the project.
  • Integrate automated workflows into CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and testing cycles.
  • Support the broader engineering team in driving system performance, reliability, and security enhancements.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong background in DevOps methodologies, automation, and systems integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins for building robust CI/CD pipelines.
  • Python programming skills, with demonstrable experience developing backend services using Flask or similar frameworks.
  • Proficient in Docker, including building and managing containers in development and production environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
